The product works as expected and feels solid when you hold it. However, after the torsion is extended, the product feels a little flimsy and not that sturdy. Might work with a jacket and a couple of shirts hanging but wouldn’t expect more from this product.

Just perfect for us as a short term measure after the glass shower door failed. I read most of the reviews and initially I was put off but as a last resort I had to order this Amazon Basics Shower pole as I couldnât see much else available at a reasonable price.Iâm very happy with this product that comes very well packed within its own box and a detailed installation manual in many languages but really it is so easy just to twist out one end until both ends are secure. One end of pole fits snuggly on the shower cubicle tiles and likewise the other end is snug against the glass screen.So far it hasnât moved an inch and has a double width polyester curtain hanging from it so Iâm content it will stay fixed in position.I havenât tried to swing from it just yet but quite happy with the performance and the spec of the pole.Iâd recommend it no worries.

This seems a good little door curtain rail. Follow the instructions and it should stay where it’s placed. The rail itself is quite large in circumference, so do check that your curtain will thread onto the rail, or use curtain rings or shower hooks.This one is holding up a medium weight door curtain against a UPVC door, and hasn’t fallen down so far. It did take a bit of putting up correctly, but following the instructions, it has stayed in place.The curtain is constantly being opened and closed as the door is used a lot. I have, however taken the precaution of putting up a few self adhesive locking hooks to make sure it doesn’t fall down, but I’m not sure I needed them!I think you would find it hard to grip if the surface where you want to place it is on wallpaper or a similar surface but it does have a surprisingly good spring inside. And a good price point as well.
