Inside mounted shades will have a deduction taken of approximately 0.4″ to ensure a proper fit inside the window frame.Inside mounted shades require a minimum frame depth of 3.5inch for secure installation. INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT:
Step 1.Measure the inside frame width at three locations-the top,middle,and bottom. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use that number deduct 1/4inch as your inside width when ordering.
Step 2. Measure the height at 3 locations-the left,middle,and right side. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use the number as your inside width when ordering.
OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT:
Step 1. Measure the outside frame width adding 6-10inch to be the outside mount width.
Step 2. Measure the outside frame length adding 5-10inch to be the outside mount length. The overlap it recommended to allow appropriate coverage and avoid any light gaps.

INSIDE MOUNT WIDTH: Inside mount require a MIN 2″ window frame depth. Choose the size which is CLOSEST to the exact WINDOW inside width and height to place order, then WE WILL MINU 0.4″ (the mounting space) base on your window width to the final shade width, and make the final shade height the same as your window height. For example, if your window inside are 35.75″ wide by 42″ high, select CLOSEST 36″ W x 48″ L to place order, the roller shade you get will be 35.35″ Wide by 42″ High.
OUTSIDE MOUNT WIDTH: The shade width and length should be 3″ to 10″ wider than window for better coverage. Choose the size which is CLOSEST to the exact FINAL SHADE. For example, if your window is 40.75″ wide by 65″ height, the shade should be at least 44″wide and 70″ high, you need to select CLOSEST 44″ W x 72″ H to place order. We will MAKE NO DEDUCTION, you will get the exact shade size you ordered 44″W by 72″H. For outside mount, if there is enough space, the bigger the better.
