Forget light blocking, these seem to amplify the sunlight
If you have an east facing room and you put these curtains in the window, you can forget sleeping once the sun is up. The entire room is illuminated like outside. I don’t know why they claim to block 60 to 65% sunlight. They are good for indoors or for windows where sunlight does not hit.
